FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
ECI does provide the payroll services for your company. However, because of confidentially laws and contractual agreements we are not authorized to speak directly to any of the employees of our clients. Please contact your Payroll or HR Administrator of your company, as they can further assist you or refer to the list below of frequently asked questions that you may find useful.
Q: Why am I unable to login?
Depending on the error message, it could be one of the following issues:
The Company ID, Last Name, SSN
Access must be enabled by your HR Administrator for your User Accounts.
Q: What is my Company ID?
Your HR Administrator can provide you with this information.
Q: Why can’t I login?
Certain Internet settings and/ or firewalls may be restricting the access. Please reach out to your HR Administrator, who can contact your IT department for assistance. Spam filters wouldn’t prohibit an employee from logging into Empower.
Q: Why am I locked out when I’ve only tried to log in once?
The lockout options are designated by your company’s administrators. The recommendation is to lock out after 3 invalid attempts. If your account has been locked, you will need to reach out to your HR Administrator to unlock your account.
Q: How do I reset my password?
If you have forgotten your password, click on the “Forgot Password” link on the login page. This will take you to a screen where you can enter CAPTCHA text and an e-mail will be sent to the address on file to enable you to reset your password. If you do not have a valid email address stored in Empower, contact your HR Administrator to have your password reset.
Q: Who is my Company Administrator?
To find out who your Company Administrator is, reach out to your HR department. Typically, this person is your company’s HR or Payroll Manager.
Q: How do I print my paycheck?
In your Employee Self Service, navigate to Compensation Pay Checks from here you can print your current check. To print previous check stubs, simply click on the check dates under the “Pay History” area on this screen.
Q: My company no longer exists. How do I get my pay-stubs or other documents?
Please contact the owners of the former company for assistance.
